How to shorten a stick

Logo floorballshop.com
In case your new floorball stick is too long or you need a certain length you are used to, you can easily shorten your stick. Note that every stick comes in a conical shape, which means that the shaft is slightly thinner just above the blade than up at the grip. As your stick has to fit into your blade and as the IFF seal has to be visible even after shortening, you can shorten the stick only at the grip side.

How to shorten my stick?
» Remove the grip at the upper end of the stick.
» Loose the protection cap. Pull out the rivets e.g. with a screwdriver or a pliers.
» If possible place the upper end of the shaft in a vice.
» Mark the new length and saw along your marking with a metal saw into the material.
» Replace the protection cap. Fix the cap while driving two nails into your shaft.
» Wrap your new grip around the shaft and secure the cap further with it.
» Ready! Now it's time to try out your new stick.

Does the floorballshop shorten my stick upon request?
Of course! We have plenty of experience and are pleased to shorten your stick to your desired length. Just get in contact with us during your order process and let us know how much we have to cut off.

Do I lose the warranty of the stick when it gets shortened?
Unfortunately yes! Due to the change of the product we cannot apply any warranty for the stick afterwards. As well we are not able to accept any return or exchange of the product. Your stick is now customized to your individual needs. Please carefully think about if shortening of your product is really necessary to enjoy playing floorball with your stick as much as you have done it before.
